Michala Banas
Michaela is a New Zealand Actress who moved to Australia at age 10. On her main website www.michalabanas.net Michala describes how Acting has always been such a huge part of her life, and in turn a part of who she is. In January 2001, she wrote: "I have been an actor/actress basically all my life - I did my first television commercial when I was only eighteen months old! (not that I knew what was going on). After that, I never really stopped. I guess film work is in my genes, my father [John Banas] is also in the industry as a writer/director/producer, and I just kind of fell into it."
Michaela’s first debut as an Actress was the role of Louisa Iredale in Mirror Mirror and as a result was nominated for the Best Young Actress Award in the 1996 New Zealand Television Awards. At 18 she moved to Melbourne appearing in guest roles for various television shows such as Blue Heelers and the Round Twist. Jessica Napier is a New Zealand born actress based in Australia. She grew up in
Wellington before moving to Sydney for her father’s Acting Career at age 10.
Jessica has followed in her fathers footsteps. Jessica had her screen debut at
age 12 in the television series Police
Rescue. From here she moved onto working on telvison series such as Echo Point, Twisted Tales, Love Serenade,
Blackrock, Water Rates and Murder Call. From here Jessica moved onto bigger
roles in film/television that included Stingers,
McLeods Daughters, Wildside, Cut, Alice, Ghost Rider, War Story and Jet Set to name a few. Outside her
Acting profession Jessica is a devoted animal lover. Both Jessica and Marshall Napier
support various animal right foundations and are former vegetarians. She also
supports Taronga Zoo in Sydney for retired circus elephants.
What I admire about Jessica is how she remains grounded. Her biography is comprehensive, having worked in over 30 television/film projects over the course of her career, she is an Actress who is always working on new art pieces. She still has time to give back to various humanitarian organisations which I believe is an important skill every Actor must possess. Giving back to the community reminds oneself that they are the same as everyone else, breaking down the ego factor that I believe too many Actors possess today.

Aaron Jefferies
Born in Howick, Auckland, Aaron Jefferies is a New Zealand Actor who moved to Australia at the age of 17 to study acting at NIDA. Aaron began his television career in 1993 on the children's programme Ship to Shore. Aaron is best known for his role as Alex Ryan on the Australian Television series McLeod's Daughters. This popularity led to Aaron landing a role on Outrageous Fortune, East West 101 and Wild Boys. Aaron’s television and film credits also include Underbelly: Badness, Neighbours and Wentworth.
Aaron’s skill and talent as an Actor have won him the Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor in a Drama Series for his role on McLeod's Daughters. His work also expands to film with credits including Square One, The Interview, Strange Planet, Beautiful and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Aaron is one of the few New Zealand Male Actors that I really admire. He is an Actor who I believe appears to be very natural on Screen. His performance never seems forced or pushed which is something I believe too many screen Actors push for these days, especially with soap operas. I am captivated with every role Aaron plays as he seems to always be connected and in the moment, which is a skill that I believes makes a good Actor.

After her parents split at age 5 Emma moved to Oxfordshire where she lived there with her mother and brother. Her career took off from a young age. Brooke Fraser
Brooke Fraser is a New Zealand born Singer-Songwriter and Musician. Brooke was born in Wellington, New Zealand. At the young age of 30 Brooke has accomplished a lot during her career. Brooke has produced 4 albums, What to Do with Daylight, Albertine, Flags and her newly to be released album Brutal Romantic. Brooke writes and produces a mixture of music from relaxed acoustic tunes to a more upbeat lively Christian Rock.
Brooke Fraser is one of my idols and role models .As a Performer and Artist she sets a positive image and is an exemplary role model for anyone in the industry. Brooke remains very humble and is an Artist who is true to herself. A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Brooke at the More FM Winery tour in Blenheim, and what an honour it was! She is the most down to earth genuine and kind hearted Artist that I have ever met. Amongst her busy signing and performing schedule she still made time to talk to me briefly about her career and a quick photo opportunity. I admire Brookes outlook on life. She is all about helping others and her music reflects that. She constantly sings about humanity and issues regarding the way we as humans treat each other. Brooke is for world peace and positively uses her ‘fame’ to educate society about charity projects and worthy causes. Brooke has worked alongside World Vision as an Artist Associate since 2001. She has raised large amount of money for many charities over the years and encourages her fans to share this journey with her. On her 27th birthday she ran a campaign for World Vision asking that instead of birthday presents her fans donate $27 in honour of her 27th birthday. Successfully raising over $54,000 they managed to build clean water wells in Ethiopia.

Rhys was an ex-solider of the New Zealand Army before he made his screen debut as a stand-up comedian fifteen years ago. Rhys has worked on various films including Yes Man, The Boat that Rocked, Whos ya mate, Lovebirds, Missing Christmas, Keep calm and carry on and the recent comedy What we do in the shadows. His television credits include How I met your mother, How to be a Gentleman, Tiny Commando, Short Poppies, Modern family, The Jacquie Brown Dairies and life stinks. Rhys stand-up comedy career has really taken off in the last decade. His comedy is unique with an entertaining mixture of sound effects, characterizations and askew observations. He has a unique witty and charming personality often making kiwi jokes and humour the base of his jokes. His career has taken him beyond New Zealand, to America, the UK and further a field. He has produced dvds of his stand ups as well as writing his own 8 part mockumentary series, Short Poppies for TVNZ. Rhys is one of New Zealand’s entertainment icons.
